DetailerStack LLC ("DetailerStack," "we," "us," or "our") operates the DetailerStack platform, which provides website, booking, and business management tools for car detailing businesses. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our website (detailerstack.com), platform, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

Who This Policy Covers

This policy applies to two types of users:

Business Users are car detailing business owners and operators who create a DetailerStack account to use our platform for websites, booking, marketing, and business management.

End Users are customers of our Business Users who interact with DetailerStack-powered websites, booking systems, or receive communications sent through our platform.

Information We Collect

Information Business Users Provide

When you create an account or use our Services, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, business address, and website URL. We also collect billing and payment information processed through Stripe, service and pricing details you enter into the platform, content you upload such as photos, descriptions, and branding materials, and communications you send through the platform including SMS messages.

Information End Users Provide

When an End User books an appointment or interacts with a Business User's DetailerStack-powered site, we may collect their name, email address, phone number, vehicle information related to the booking, appointment preferences and service selections, and payment information processed through Stripe on behalf of the Business User.

Information Collected Automatically

When anyone visits our website or uses our platform, we automatically collect device information such as browser type, operating system, and device type, IP address, pages visited and features used, referring URLs, and cookies and similar tracking technologies.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our Services
• Process transactions and send related information such as confirmations and reminders
• Send appointment reminders, booking confirmations, and other transactional messages via SMS or email
• Send marketing and promotional communications to users who have opted in
• Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests
• Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve the platform
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities
• Comply with legal obligations

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

With Business Users. End User information collected through a Business User's booking system is shared with that Business User to fulfill the services requested.

Service Providers. We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including Stripe for payment processing, Twilio for SMS messaging, Google Analytics for website analytics, and PostHog for product analytics. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only to provide services to us and are bound by their own privacy policies.

Legal Requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

Business Transfers. If DetailerStack is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

With Your Consent. We may share information with third parties when you give us explicit consent to do so.

SMS Messaging

DetailerStack sends SMS messages on behalf of Business Users to their End Users. These messages may include:

• Appointment confirmations and reminders
• Booking updates and schedule changes
• Marketing and promotional messages (only with explicit opt-in consent)

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your interactions. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance.

We do not share phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, understand how you use our Services, and improve our platform. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our Services.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with our website. Google Analytics collects information such as how often you visit, what pages you view, and what other sites you visited before coming to ours. Google's ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics is governed by the Google Analytics Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

PostHog. We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how users interact with our platform features, identify and fix issues, and improve the user experience.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our Services. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, unless we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

End User data collected on behalf of Business Users is retained for as long as the Business User's account is active. Business Users can request deletion of their End Users' data at any time.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access and Portability. You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Correction. You can request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

Deletion. You can request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.

Opt-Out of Marketing. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email, or opt out of SMS marketing by replying STOP.
